Virginia Panozzo Obituary

Virginia Panozzo, nee Scandian, age 97, a native of Zugliano, Prov. Vinenza, Italy, she has been a resident of Chicago's Historic Pullman since 1953, loving wife of the late John A. Panozzo; loving mother of Anthony (Fern), Emily, Livia, Silvio (Karen), Flavia, Ennio (Carol), Rosalina (Anthony) Maro and Giselle; devoted "Nonni" of 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers; dear "Zia" of many nieces and nephews. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights, on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 2 to 9 p.m. Visitation Friday morning at St. Anthony Church, 11533 S. Prairie Ave., Chicago, from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral Mass 10 a.m. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. 708-481-9230.
