I am a cousin of Vivian's. Vivian's father, Ed, and my mother, Rose Monarch, were 1st cousins. Our grandfather's were brothers, and we shared the same great-grandfather. This may seem very distant, but as children, Vivian and I grew up in an extended Chicago family and were both part of The Monarch Cousin Club. Vivian was older than me, so we were never close, but I did look up to her. I am sorry to hear of her passing. Please accept my condolences.

Sincere condolences - Vivian and I were classmates at Shakespeare School in Chicago. She was also cheerful and friendly and a pleasure to know. She will be missed by all who knew her.
