My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Hayes and all of the Hayes girls. I remember your dad as far back as when he drove the car pool to Girl Scout meetings... And when it came time for me to buy a house, it was Mr. Hayes who was my realtor. Your dad was a wonderful man, and he will be missed greatly. My prayers are with you all.

There is not much more that I can add to what is already been expressed by many friends and family. Jack and I really liked Wally and his gentle manner and sincerity. God bless all of you who were fortunate to be close to him.

I worked with Wally for many years at Century 21 McMullen. He was a joy to know and always had a quick smile and a good word. He was a good and gentle man.
I hope knowing he was well liked and thought of will help you through this sad time.

So very sorry to hear about the death of your father Peg, Laura, Lynda, Kathy & Mary. He was one of a kind - a true gentleman and he had such patience for all five of you! He will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with all of you - especially your mom.

My dear cousins, I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your husband and dad. I heard too late to pay my respects at the wake. He was such a dear man, we were all so fond of him...a gentleman if ever there was one... so many summers filled with wonderful memories. There is surely a 'welcome home' party up in Heaven tonight. Please know you are all in my thoughts often, and especially at this time. It's been so long since we've seen each other... far too long. Please be in touch... Peace to you all.

I worked with Wally for many years at Century 21 McMullen Real Estate. His desk was located close to mine so he would share with me many stories about his dearly loved family which he was so proud of. He also shared many stories about the Chicago Police dept that he served as a District Commander in. Many times I would past Wally's desk and find him jotting down notes in short hand. I will truely miss Wally, he was a true gentle man and a great real estate agent to work with.

Wally was the best real estate partner you could have. We had many great deals together. We spent hours talking in the office. He was a one of a kind. Heaven has a new angel.
