I just found out about the passing of Steve. He was an American Original and a fine man! His sense of humor, loyalty, compassion and integrity will always be remembered.

Steve and I had a lot of laughs in high school. He had a great sense of the absurd and a healthy mistrust of authority. I had a wonderful time hanging with him at our 30th reunion and he was a big reason I was looking forward to our 40th. My condolences to his family and close friends.

Steve was the biggest Cub fan he loved Wrigley Field. He was the only person I knew that would score a game. He loved to paint and said it relaxed him. Steve Lincoln was a good friend and will be missed.

Your life was not always easy, but you gave many gifts! You gave me the gift of Colgate. Had it not been for you, I would not have gone there and made the many friends that I have today. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest in peace, my friend.

Steve had a gift of making people feel special. He was and will always be in my heart. I am lucky he and my brother were good friends - Steve seemed to be part of the Zwerling family and my thoughts for his family.
