Wanda Helen Norkewicz, age 99 of Melrose Park, passed away in her home on January 24, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Leo R. Norkewicz. Dearest mother of Patricia (Ralph) Badalamenti, Nancy (Michael) Wasielewski, Gerry Norkewicz and the late Paula Norkewicz. Loving grandmother of David Badalamenti (Dan Cowan), Lara Badalamenti, Ryan (Lauren) Badalamenti, Jonathan (Amy) Badalamenti, Michael (Melissa) Wasielewski and Amanda Wasielewski (Agri Ismail). Cherished great-grandmother of Jacob, Vincent and Wesley Badalamenti; Henry, Bria and Fiona Wasielewski; Max and Leo Badalamenti; and Van Wasielewski-Ismail. She was born in Chicago on March 26, 1923, to Stanley and Sophia (nee Skura) Korczynski. She was predeceased by her brother Stanley Korczynski and sister Loretta Hnizdor. Visitation at Bormann Funeral Home, Melrose Park, January 30, 9-10:30 a.m.; Mass at Sacred Heart Church 11 a.m.; Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
