Bill was a golf buddy of my first boss at Bruning and even when I was a young 20, I new there was something great about him. At 50+ I still saw those qualities and adored him for it. I asked him many lawn and repair questions over the years. He always had suggestions along with a funny story about a neighbor or someone he knew to go along with the advice. I missed him before he even retired.

I worked with Bill a long time & I always remember when he came to my desk to ask me a question. He would walk up so quite that I didn't even know that he was approhing me. He would then put his hand on my shoulder & rub & everytime he did that, I'd almost jump out of the chair. Bill was such a special person & will truly be missed.

Bill was married to our cousin Louise and we have known him all that time. What a special man he was, so kind and always caring. He surely rests with the Savior this very day , love from Gael (Brennan) and Roy Hanauer

Bill was always very supportive of us in the field. If you needed something, a question answered or some pertinent information he was the one to call. He was always upbeat and friendly. Of all of those in the home office Bill was the best. He will be missed very much. Larry Hansgen (Columbus, Ohio)

Often, when I walked away from Bill's desk at work, I found myself humming the song "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..." because Bill's light was always shining and it made ours shine brighter, too. Bill will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Anyone who knew Bill was a better person for touching our lives with his thoughtfulness, his honesty, and his devotion.
An uncommon man in common times.
He will be desperately missed.

Bill always had good things to say about people. I liked the stories from Bill about his neighbors. Especially the old timers he would help out. What a fine fellow. Bill had a great "can-do" spirit. It was an honor to know and work with Bill. My kindest thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I had the privilege to work with Bill before he retired. His desk was very close to mine. We talked every morning about life, his family and of course business. He was a dedicated man, hard worker, committed to his family and with exceptional human qualities.
Bill is one of the most respectable person I met in my life.
I will not forget him.
