In 1963-64 Bill & Bill Jr. did the landscaping on our new building, when the Fire siren went off they dropped their tools and jumped into the truck. We have been appreciative of Bill's dedication in both areas for many years. He was also a wonderful man to have as a friend. He has lived life to the fullest and left a beautiful heritage. Bill would manage to find me a ticket to ski at Wilmot during his shift or others before I was on the Wilmot patrol, and later when I visited while I lived in Vail. He was always a kind man.

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bill on the Wilmot Ski
Patrol for about 25 years. He was a great guy and had a wonderful family. He will be missed and thought of often.

Bill Noland lived life to the fullest and his athletic accomplishments are truly amazing. But the greatest accomplishment and tribute to Bill is the wonderful family that he and Patrica raised.
He should indeed be proud.

Will,
I'll never forget the first time I met you in the kitchen of the Colfax Fire Station. You had a great relationship with your son, my Lieutenant on the Palatine Fire Department at the time. I always enjoyed when you rode on the rigs. You made many a man smile when you would join us for lunch. Will Noland Senior you were a great guy.

What an athletic life he led. He enjoyed coming into our shop, Bikes Plus in Arlington Heights and we loved to hear of his accomplishments. Interesting that we also retired to a nearby part of paradise in western Colorado.
