MARGARET HOGAN Obituary

Margaret Munson Hogan, nee Fairbairn , of Glenview, IL and South Haven, MI, died Tuesday, Sept. 28 at home. Margaret, a life long Chicago area resident, was a graduate of Mercy High and Chicago Teacher College. She was a loving and loved woman who along with her devotion to family was a caring teacher, friend, neighbor and volunteer in her church and community. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Angus and Lucy Fairbairn, her brother Dr. James and her husband (s) F. Weldon Munson and Robert V. Hogan; Margaret is survived by her sisters Lucile Rice O'Toole and Mary Jean Kelley; children Marylu (Timothy E.) Maloney of Virginia and Thomas Nolan (Catherine) Munson of Georgia; beloved grandsons Timothy James (TJ) Maloney and Thomas Weldon Munson; Margaret also leaves a legacy of love for the entire Hogan family and dear grandchildren; "Aunt Margie" was much loved and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews of the Rice, Fairbairn and Kelley families and the entire O'Farrell family. A Celebration of Life Liturgy was held Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. Basil Catholic Church in South Haven, Michigan and burial will be private.
