To Mrs. Ruff and Family...
I was nine years old when I came to the Wall/Ruff Practice on Halsted and Garfield Boulevard. I remember Dr. Ruff's kind approach, gentle touch, and good humor. I am truly sorry for your loss and trust your memories will help you all through this difficult time...just as Dr. Ruff has given fond memories to countless people like me who are better for having known him.

Dear JoAnn and family: I just learned of Bill's death this morning at Mass; I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him from years ago as a reader at the children's 9:00 Sunday Mass at Little Flower Church, and now as a fellow parishioner again, I will miss seeing him at daily Mass. You are in my prayers.

Mrs.Ruff and family, i am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Bill was an amazing man. I will never forget on one of my visits he was checking my reflexes and told me to go home and tel my dad he hit me with a hammer! He was a great doctor and I am greatful to have had him as my doctor for as many years as I did. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers

Mrs. Ruff & Family,
My condolences to all of Dr. Ruff's family. He was a wonderful physcian and very caring person. He took care of my mom for many years and she is still with us today at 94 because of him. We will all miss him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Dear JoAnn and Family, Oscar and I were saddened to learn of Bill's passing, especially since we were away and unaware of it at the time. We have been praying for him since Mary told us he was doing poorly. I remember especially many happy dinners at your bustling home with Mary and the young family. My dear JoAnn, I remember Bill from my grammar school days at Little Flower. He used to be a reader at the Masses. I think he was a seminarian at the time. I was mightily impressed by him and always will remember him-and you -with great fondness and sincere respect. May he rest in peace. Pat Powers

Mrs. Ruff & Family,
The Ruff family is in my thoughts & prayers. Dr. Ruff was a wonderful doctor. I was of of his patients for about 30 years. There will never be a doctor that can replace him. He was very caring and took his time with each and every person.
