I am so sorry for your loss, I lost my first born son just four hours after he was born. This was in 1993, it was the hardest thing that I have ever been threw and I thought that I would never get past it. But life goes on day by day and year by year. You never forget but it does get easier, some day are great and wonderful then you have other days that you just don't want to get out of bed.
Sometime you will find a way to honor Alek's short life, I have a plant that was givin to me and moved it three times. When I bought my house I planeted it. I have watched it grow like he would have, blooming and flowering like he would have.
I hope that one day you find the peace that I have found. I now have a beautiful daughter that's middle name is the female version of my son's name. She knows that is where her name came from and she is proud.
God bless you and your family.

We are so sorry about your loss, yet the words you chose to use in Alek's obituary convey such love and depth of understanding. You are amazing!
You are also in our prayers and thoughts daily.

I know I dont know your family, but am so sorry for the loss or your precious baby boy!! I cannot imagine your grief. He will always be with you!!! I had a pregnancy loss last year and this quote really helped me "those who are loved, do not die, they live forever in our hearts". I hope it brings some comfort to you.
You can email me if you ever need any one to talk to, I also do graphics for babies that have passed away for free.
