ANN P. DENIZ Private family services will be held at a later date for Ann P. Deniz, 92 of Biggs CA. Ann passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital in Gridley. She was born February 16, 1920 in Loleta, CA to John and Anna Deniz. Ann was a long time area resident of Biggs, having worked many years for Bi-County Radiology in Marysville as an X-Ray Technician. She enjoyed reading and spending time with the family. She was also a long time member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by one brother, Frank (Irene) Deniz of Biggs; two sisters, Delmida Edwards of Novato CA, and Mary Ivancich of Eureka CA, and loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gridley, followed by a small reception at the Parish Hall. Family suggests donations to Butte Home Health Hospice or H.T.A Portuguese Hall in Gridley. Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley Block Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be at Gridley Biggs Cemetery.
