Bertha Crank Obituary

BERTHA MAE CRANK Bertha Mae Crank was born the third of seven children to Lillie and George Waters in Maimi Station, Missouri on November 26, 1926. She met William "Bill" Crank while he was on leave from the Army Air Corps during WWII, and they were married on January 12, 1947. They made their home in Carrollton, Missouri where daughter, Janet, was born. The family moved as Bill accepted new employment in Marshall, Missouri; Willows, California; and eventually San Francisco. After Bill's retirement, he and Bertha moved back to Willows, California and later to Chico, California to be near family. Bertha enjoyed her life as a loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband Bill after 68 years of marriage. Bertha is survived by her daughter, Janet, and her husband Michael Nicholas; grandchildren Jennifer Osa and her partner Ty Gorton, and John Graf; great- grandson James Mason Osa and his wife Krista Osa; and many nieces and nephews.
