Cesar Trinidad Sandoval

CESAR TRINIDAD SANDOVAL Cesar Trinidad Sandoval, 50, of Willows, California, passed away unexpectedly on April 13th, 2023. Cesar was born on June 14, 1972 to Trinidad and Maria De La Luz Lopez Sandoval in Apozol, Zacatecas. After graduating from Willows High School (1991), Cesar attended Butte College and the College of the Redwoods Police Academy. He started his Law Enforcement career in December 1993 as a Police Officer with the Colusa Police Department. After the 1 1/2 years in Colusa, he moved on to serve the Willows community as a Patrol Officer as well as a School Resource Officer. After more than 4 years in Willows, he joined the Chico Police Department in 1999 where he served a variety of assignments over the course of 22 years from Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Bomb Squad, and his final role as a Target Team Supervisor. Early in his life, Cesar met Jessica, the love of his life. They were together for 28 years, married for almost 21 years. They have two children, Shayla Quiles (32) and Conner Sandoval (19). Cesar was a loyal, hard-working, and committed family man. He appreciated his family's support of his career in law enforcement which came with heavy sacrifices and sleepless nights. Cesar and Jessica together carried the duty with honor. In his free time, Cesar could be found mowing his lawn, hanging out with friends, having a few beers, and then a few more. He loved trips to the Beach with his family. Cesar was never short on stories, always providing laughs, poking fun, or eating the spiciest thing he could find. If you knew Cesar, you knew his personality and smile shined bright. His laughter was contagious. He was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by his mother, Maria De La Luz Sandoval; Deeply missed by his loving wife, Jessica; children Shayla (Joe) and Conner. Forever cherished by his grandson, Mason. Loved by his siblings and their families; Armando Sandoval, Elvira (Rogelio) Sandoval, Leticia (Agustin) Sandoval De Hermosillo, Maria (Luis) Ibanes, Maria Trinidad (Rafael) Sandoval De Villasana, Pedro (Irene) Sandoval. Forever missed by his In-Laws; Rick & Jackie Galbraith, Jeana (Ty), Tricia (David), Nichole (Dan), Natalie (Darian) and all 49 of his Sandoval/Galbraith Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his father Trinidad Sandoval; siblings Celina Sandoval, & Jesus Sandoval. There will be a Rosary held at F.D Sweet & Son on April 27, 2023 between 5pm 8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Willows, Ca on April 28, 2023 at 12 pm. A burial will be held at the Willows Cemetery and a reception held at St. Monica's Church-Parish Hall will follow.
