CHARLES J. ROBERTS

Feb. 28, 1949 - Jan. 29, 2011

Charles J. Roberts, 61, passed away at his home in Oroville, CA on January 29, 2011.

He was born on February 28, 1949 in Modesto, CA to Charles J. Roberts and Martha Bell. He was a high school graduate who also served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam.

He worked in sales, and the construction and flooring industries.

He loved fishing and camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Bell of Oroville; stepmother, Betty Roberts of Hesperia; brothers, Myron Roberts of Hesperia, and Don Bell of Oroville; sister, Irva Binda of Modesto, and numerous loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles J. Roberts Sr. and brother, Jerry Everett Roberts.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Foothill Community Church, 2475 Foothill Blvd., Oroville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Hospice, 1289 Billie Rd., Paradise, CA 95969.

The Charles family wants to thank all who have helped in any way.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Northern California, Chico Branch.
