DONALD LEDFORD A funeral service will be held for Donald Richard Ledford, 86 of Chico, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Brusie Funeral Home. Don passed away on November 18, 2017. He was born on March 15, 1931 to Harry and Eva Ledford in Chico, CA. Don worked for many years as a tree trimmer in the Chico area. He enjoyed working with wood creating various art pieces that he referred to as Okie Art. His work was widely recognizable throughout the community. Don is survived by his wife Agnes Ledford of Chico; three children, Roy and Richard Ledford of Chico and Leslie Salazar of Franklin, TN; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and his brother Carol Ellis (Dootsie) Ledford. Visitation will be held from 5 8 p.m. Monday, December 18 at Brusie Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with burial expenses.
