KEVIN WAYNE OBLEY On July 14, 2021, Kevin Wayne Obley passed away at the age of 68 from natural causes. Kevin was born in Burbank, CA on September 30, 1952. The son of a U.S. Air Force officer, Kevin and his three siblings lived in many places around the U.S. and in Japan. He attended Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. For 37 years, Kevin was a career financial broker and served as the 1st Discount Brokerage Regional Manager for the West Region. He lived in the Paradise/Magalia area for 32 years, where he raised his children and step-daughter Mary. In 2013, he joined the Paradise Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a past Worthy President. Always helping others, he was instrumental in planning for the reconstruction of the Eagles' building, destroyed in the Camp Fire. Kevin's primary joy was spending time with his dog Aries at the dog park and the Flumes. He also enjoyed watching the news, following the stock market and going to the shooting range with his friends. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Obley, daughter Ashley (Obley) Rivera, and three young grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Richard Obley, Senior, and his mother, Jeanne Mary (Lefler) Obley.
