MARILYN COFFMAN Marilyn Coffman, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home in Cohasset. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Marilyn was born in Chico on April 24, 1937 to Everett and Helen Milne of Cohasset. Raised and schooled in Cohasset and Chico, she married Bert Coffman on December 23, 1956. They spent many years in Fair Oaks before retiring to Cohasset in 1997. Her five children include, Kathy (preceded in death in 2012) and husband David Gore of Fair Oaks; Sons David and wife Barbara of Roseville; John and wife Zena of Roseville; Stephen and wife Aura of Elk Grove and Timothy and wife Kristin of Browns Valley. Marilyn will be remembered for her dedication to family; her kindness and willingness to help others; her love of flowers and all things beautiful; her sweet disposition and commitment to God. She volunteered for her church including providing flowers from her garden for Sunday services. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and photography. Her family includes sisters Beverly Etter of Lake Tahoe; Darlene Rumboltz and husband Mathew of Round Mountain and Marjorie Dunham and husband Wayne of Redding. She adored her seventeen grandchildren and five great -grandchildren. Services will be held at the Cohasset Neighborhood Church, 10153 Cohasset Road, Chico, CA 95973, on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:00 am, followed by interment at the Cohasset Cemetery, Pastor Russ Colombo officiating.
