Les & Family,

So sorry to hear of your loss. It just seems like yesterday when I had stopped in the bank asking Sally a question regarding my Dad's account (Fred Meyer) and started crying relating to her my Dad's recent cancer diagnosis. She gave me a big hug and said "it's okay to cry" and offered anytime John and I need anything to call her and Les. What a thoughtful, giving and strong lady Sally was.

Les, if there is anything you need during this difficult time, please don't hesitate to call us, that's what neighbors are for.

Our thought's and prayer's are with you.

I have so many great memories with Sally, I can't even count. I remember when she, Marie, Cheryl and I went to the Wynonna concert at Marysville. There were about seven acts that came before Wy and we danced the whole day away.

I cleaned their house up in Magalia for some time and sometimes Sally and Les would get home early, and I remember what a great couple they were, talking about how Terry and his friends used to play volleyball in the front yard. Or Leslie and how she was doing in Kansas (though I never met Leslie) and how proud they were.

Sally had the biggest laugh of anyone I knew, too. And the longest nails! Plus, I was 20 years younger at the time and she could Electric Slide my aerobics-trained behind into the dust, and keep going.

This has happened far too early, but I'd rather live 60 Sally Johnson years than 90 of anyone else's. Because Sally truly lived and had a great time doing it. She didn't waste a minute.
