Seems like just yesterday you were here at our house, messing with your half of Doogie, leaving the worst half for us. hahaha. Thank you man for giving me a start in the business, and although I wasn't nearly as successful as you were, I thank you for having faith in me. We enjoyed the times you and Brenda have stayed with us, and now you can have all of my mama's chocolate pie you want. God blessed me with you in my life. Lisa and I will certainly miss you! Much love to you man, and Brenda, we are here for you, anything or anytime. Thank you for being with him and standing by him. Love, Dan and Lisa Moorehead

Tommy,
I still remember that night playing music in that little pool hall on lower Broad when a Guy walked up to me and asked if I could play "Statue of a Fool by Jack Green and handed me a five dollar bill. I sang it and that guy went on to become my Manager and negotiate my first Recording Contract in Nashville. You were my Fiend, My financial advisor, my Booking Agent and my best friend. 43 years of memories. You were one of a kind. The jokes we played on each other and the life stories we experienced would fill a book. You and I finally found two special women that changed us both and we hung up our spurs and let the young cowboys handle the rodeo. It just seemed like you would always be there.
Now you're not and I still can't believe it. I know one thing for sure. You had a talk with your creator and you told me you weren't worried about where you were going when you left us. The angels have welcomed you home and we have had to say goodbye but our paths will cross again and what a reunion that will be. Save a place for me at the dinner table old friend. Thanks for believing in me.
Your Buddy
Don
