To the hobbs family.....
From Charles Bryant..
I short business relationships meeting the owner tony hobbs for the first time impacted my life for ever.....
I remember his kind warm gentle welcoming spirit towards me....
I was told tony was pleased by my performance at baker trucking........
One morning when i walked into the office....i noticed this very kind guy showing everyone pitures of the new home he was building.....
I wanted to see it.....but i was a new employee....feeling out of place for the moment.....
Tony look at me and said charles take a look.
Right there and then i felt as family...
I remember tony saying charles i really appreciate you washing that truck.....
Littie do tony know.....it was a honor for me to do that.....
Tony had this cool smile about him.......that was warm loving.....caring person......
I wasn't wrong about that......when i herd all of the good things him and his wife had done for the community of willows....
Friday march 8th....when i walked in the office....and headed home.......
I said i see you guys later.......tony saidddd alright charles see you later....i said ok later....
Monday morning was the most difficult time....when i was told of Tony's passing....
I was devastated.....
But......here i am to my boss tony.....
Boss you've been relieved from your hard labor's of life.....here a baker's trucking.....
Rest easy at peace....and let your brother's take it from here at bakers trucking.....
God bless.

Tony! I will remember you fondly forever! You have a special place in my heart. You had a special day at the Last Stand to honor my Dad (Jim Culp) and sat with Mark and me when Mom (Joan Culp) had her surgery soon after Dad passed. Those are just some of the many things you've done for my family and they are appreciated SO much! Hugs and prayers for your family!

Too many memories... most at Lake Tahoe and trips to Arizona where he got his first exposure of The Free Press and Later his first encounter with a lovely lady in an antique store at Fort Bragg California. He will be in my heart forever and I WILL see him again and hug his neck. My heart goes out to his little family...
