William Diodato Obituary

William P. Diodato of Plymouth died Aug. 1, in his home, after a long illness. He was the beloved son of E. Marie (Coffey ) Guidetti of Carver and the late Robert J. Diodato; father of Shane of Plymouth and Robert "Sonny" Diodato of New Bedford, Felicia L. Grigsby of New Bedford and the late Corinne Neil; brother of Michael Diodato of Daytona, Fla., Lisa M. Diodato of Plymouth and Ann M. Warren of Naples, Fla.; grandfather of Kailey Neil. Born in Plymouth, Aug. 4, 1957, and a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, Class of 1976, he worked as a Union carpenter for Local Brotherhood 424 and 1305. Billy was a member of the Friends of Bill W. A celebration of Billys life will be held Monday, Aug. 6, at 12 p.m. in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. Visitation will be held from 11-12 prior to service. Memorial donations may be made to the Kailey Neil Scholarship Fund, c/o Mutual Bank, 74 Main St., Carver, MA 02330.
