Over the past year and a half that I’ve been with Adam and being welcomed into your family, I’m so extremely thankful that I got to know Dan. He would often text me both funny and encouraging words as he knew how hectic mine and Adam’s lives had become with so many new things going on with us. I’ll always remember and cherish his last message to me which was just about a week or two ago. In his “teacher mode” he was giving me pointers on how to get through my big test that day. And in his “fatherly mode”, he told me how proud he was of me. To me, that shows exactly what an amazing and one of kind man that Dan was, and he will be so deeply missed. I love you all and will continue to send prayers for the days ahead. ~ Lori
