Glenn Williams Obituary
Glenn moved with his family to Williston in 1978 from Pennsylvania. Glenn had a good sense of humor and he liked spending time with his friends and neighbors, always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He enjoyed fishing and going to the flea market in his spare time, but above all else, he loved being around his family. He would travel from state to state visiting with his siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the years to stay connected. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. He kept abreast of everything that was happening in their lives through phone calls and visits and proudly shared those stories with everyone he encountered. He will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Millard G. Williams and Vina A. Williams. He is survived by his wife Anna J. Williams, his sister Reba Friedland and his brother Parnick Williams. His children Becky Salvador (Mike), Derrick Williams (Mary Lynn), Lisa Reed, Craig Williams (Kimberly). His grandchildren Mike Salvador (Ana), Chris Salvador (Isabela), Corbin Williams (Melanie), Kellie Pintado (Chris), Sydney Reed (Michael), Kurt Williams (Karlee), Taylor Hicks, Courtney McDaniel and ten great grandchildren.
As Glenn served in the US Navy, a military service and Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Haven Hospice Center in Chiefland, and Julie and Barbara in particular, for the kind, compassionate, service that they extended to Glenn and his family. In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Haven Hospice.
Knauff Funeral Home of Williston was honored to serve the Williams family.

Grandpa will be missed dearly. I still remember the times when it rained heavily in Williston and he would let me and the cousins take our bikes and ride on the puddles. I also remember him driving us around anywhere we wanted to, no questions asked..Walking through the Flea Markets - always finding something interesting to take back home with us.
Rest in Peace. We love you and miss you.

I have a piece of my heart in heaven. My heart belongs to my Uncle Glenn. He never complained when he had to take me home after 15 minutes at his house because I was already homesick. He went with my Dad and picked out the prettiest powder blue and white convertible top car for my first car. He fixed my car because I didn’t know about putting oil in it. He was the uncle that could make me smile with his southern accent and draw me in with stories about his childhood and the boyish antics he had done.
I will miss him terribly!! I will repeat the stories with my Mom (Reba, his sister) and never grow tired of them. My heart is yours forever! Love you, Joy

Glenn was a wonderful great uncle. Always taking interest in what we were doing. I will always remember Glenn for his knowledge on cars and trucks and the fun times we had with his sister Reba Friedland, when we would visit him as kids and go to the flea markets. I will forever remember his great life. Prayers to his wife Anna (great auntie ann), and the entire family.
