Abraham Bravo Obituary

Abraham L. Bravo
Abraham L. Bravo, 97, former resident of Chama, Colo., passed away March 6, 2021. He was born Feb. 12, 1924, to proud parents, Augustine and Marcolfa (Archuleta) Bravo. Both preceded him in death along with his loving wife of 73 years, Mary Venita Bravo; and brothers, Arturo and Savino Bravo. He was a cattle rancher for many years. He enjoyed going to Walsenburg looking at the train, being outdoors and going out to eat with his loving Venita. He enjoyed all the entertainment at the care center. Abraham had a great sense of humor and was quite the charmer. He would jokingly say his age was 97,000 miles. He would always say "God Bless You with Good Health!". Abraham is survived by his siblings, Carmen Gregory, Bernice Sharits, Beatrice Bernal, and Vangie Trujillo; his in-laws, Emma (Toby) Barela, Albert (Frances) Archuleta, Archie Camp and Shirley Walden; special friend and caregiver, Kevin Medina; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love and will miss him dearly. Funeral Mass, noon Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Walsenburg. Interment, Chama Cemetery. Online condolences at www.angeluspueblo.com.
