Jacob Scott "Jake" Lundy
Pueblo - Jacob Scott "Jake" Lundy passed away at age 34 on Jan. 6, 2021, in Pueblo, Colo. He was born April 2, 1986, at the USAF Academy in Colorado. He lived his life with a great positive energy, which will be missed by all who loved him. He always had a positive attitude which was treasured by those around him. As a youth he enjoyed playing the drums, and was a drummer in local bands. He was an amazingly gifted roller and ice hockey player, who was loved and appreciated by all his teammates. He participated in Judo and other martial arts training and made a positive impact alongside his very close group of brothers in all of these activities. Jake became a volunteer firefighter, and worked in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He became a registered Respiratory Therapist, helping to save many lives in the Pueblo area. Jake was a very active outdoorsman. He greatly enjoyed exploring nature, searching for arrowheads, fishing, and big game hunting with his family. Jake was preceded in death by his mother, Roxanna Lundy, who was a legendary Charge Nurse in Memorial Hospital's NICU; and by two wonderful pets, Cain and Abel. He is survived by his father, John Lundy, of Republic, Wash.; a son, Korben, age 2; a daughter, Irelynn, age 6; and Irelynn's mother, Devon Morgan; brother, Eric Lundy; sister, Rebecca; brothers, Joseph and Adam Lundy, all of the Colorado Springs area; and by a younger sister, Bethany Lundy, who resides in Tokyo, Japan. He was dearly loved by very many friends and family members, and will be greatly missed by all who enjoyed his positive enthusiasm for life. Rest in peace, Jake. God be with you till we meet again. Jake's memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at the New Life Church at 11025 Voyager Parkway in Colorado Springs, Colo.
