James Wiehoff Obituary

James E. Wiehoff of Westcliffe, Colo., formerly of North-glenn, Colo., passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020. Jim was born in St. Cloud, Minn., one of ten children. He proudly served in the U.S. Army where he met his wife of 61 years. Jim enjoyed sports and was a youth baseball coach in Northglenn, Colo. He was a 20 year member of American Legion Post 2 in Pueblo, Colo. James is survived by his beloved wife, Joan; their three children, James, Riena (Anjela), Barbra; his brothers, Ken and Don; sister, Jan; grandchildren, Sarrah, Tonya, Sherri, Kevin, Sondra, James and Amanda; and 13 great-grandchildren brought him great joy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Veronica; as well as siblings, Irene, Chuck, Dick, Ron, Maryann and Jerry. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, in Thornton, Colo. Due to current public health guide- lines, in person services will be private.
