Jodi Marie Scheberle
Fort Smith, AR - Jodi, 46, a former longtime Colorado resident died on May 9, 2021, of a cardiac arrest. She was born April 12, 1975, in Englewood, Colo., to Carey Michael Scheberle and Georgiann Wood. She was a phlebotomist and had also worked at the Colorado Springs Gazette Newspaper and as a DPS Special Education Para-Pro. Jodi graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in English. She loved literature, poetry, concerts, walks with her dog. Jodi detested bigotry, was insightful and had a very loving and giving nature! She is survived by immediate family: her mother, Georgiann Wood of Fort Smith, Ark.; her father, Carey Scheberle and his wife, Christine of Pueblo West, Colo.; her twin brother, Geoffrey Scheberle of Prescott, Ariz.; older brother, Matthew Scheberle of Pueblo, Colo.; stepbrother, Daniel (Callie) Archuleta of Englewood, Colo.; and stepsister, Lydia Archuleta (Jeff Porter) of Saint Louis, Mo. Since Jodi was an avid animal lover, please send memorials to the Pueblo Area Pet Adoption Shelter or to Kitties & Kannines, 4300 Phoenix, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
