John was a thoughtful and caring neighbor. He and Michael helped install my security door. John helped me bury my beloved dog. He was so kind and considerate of my feelings at that difficult time. He will always be remembered and appreciated.

John deserved more time and did everything the doctors and medical staff asked him to do to fight for it. His brother and sister were with him constantly and John knew he was loved by many. His Creator had a different plan and his sweet and caring soul will now forever touch us in new and surprising ways.

John's love of the restaurant business and food meant he knew what he liked and I'll always smile thinking about Mike getting one of John's favorite Pueblo restaurant's to open early so he could whisk some green chile back to Denver in time for a lunch that you aren't going to find on a hospital menu - anywhere.

An unknown author wrote what I know to be true:

You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knew why.
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of me went with you,
the day God took you home.
