Edward Shoemaker Obituary
Chillicothe - Edward Lee Shoemaker, 83, of Chillicothe, died 11:36 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home.
He was born October 3, 1934 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Kash and Cora Smith Shoemaker. On July 28, 1953, he married the former Virginia Mae Brock who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dan D. (Rebecca L.) Shoemaker, of Chillicothe; a daughter, Treva (David) Pierce, of Pocahontas, AR; daughter-in-law, Dianne Shoemaker, of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Mary Beth (Jeff), David Isaac, Keith (Tara) Shoemaker and Angela (Travis) Hooton, Adam Pierce; great-grandchildren, Maddison and Landen Shoemaker, Haylee Hooton, Rian and Abby Hopkins, Josh, Isaac, Alex, Jill and Jessica; a brother, John (Charlene) Shoemaker, of Greenfield; a sister, Mary (Richard) Sterling, of Newark, OH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Rick Shoemaker and a grandson, Samuel Pierce.
Edward was a former employee Super Duper grocery store and retired from Taylor's IGA.
Graveside service will be held 12 noon Monday, March 26, 2018 in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Willard McCray officiating. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday.
