Millard Colvin Obituary

CHILLICOTHE: Millard Colvin, 76, of Chillicothe, died 11:34 a.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at his residence following a short illness.
He was born May 11, 1934, in Ross County, to the late Oscar and Dorothy Jordan Colvin.
Surviving are his wife, Cliverda A. Eversole Colvin, of Waxahachie, TX; children, Millard Lee Colvin, of Columbus, Sandra Waheed, of Ft. Worth, TX, James "Brad" Colvin, of Waxahachie, TX and Tara (Tony) Link, of Waxahachie, TX; seven grandchildren; brothers, Oscar "Buddy" (Lou) Colvin, of Chillicothe and Ron (Doris) Colvin, of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Irene Haddox, Virginia Hall, both of Columbus, Margaret Norris, of Circleville, Occie Acord, Leola (Dale) Pollock, both of Chillicothe, Shirley Horner, of Joshua, TX and Marie Hill, of Jackson, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Arley, Emmitt, Everett and Ernie Colvin; twin brother, Milton Colvin; and a sister, Emma Newland.
Millard was the owner and operator of the former Colvin Fence Company. He was an avid classic car owner and enthusiast.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with the Reverend Mitchell Salyers officiating. Friends may call at Wares from 2 p.m. to time of service on Thursday.
