Sylvia Gumm Obituary
CHILLICOTHE: Sylvia D. (Porter) Gumm, 93, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed from this life at 4:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 in Sunbridge Care and Rehab in Circleville, Ohio.
She was born March 22, 1921, in Lincoln County, WV to the late James C. Porter and Ella D. Carper. In 1942, she married Earl B. Gumm who died in 1978.
Surviving are a son, Daniel L. (Linda) Gumm, Sr., of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Debra (Jeff) Carnein, of New Holland and Daniel L. (Kim) Gumm, Jr., of Kingston; great grandchildren, Brittany E. Carnein, of Circleville and Brandy E. Carnein, of New Holland; step great grandchildren, Felicia Detty and Tristan Barthelmes, both of Kingston and a great great grandson, Riley D. Carnein, of Circleville. She was predeceased by a great grandson; 7 brothers; and 2 sisters.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
