CHILLICOTHE : Tamara Kae Riddle Preston, 58, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away at 12:19 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017.
She was born August 8, 1959, in Circleville, Ohio to Billie W. and Rose Marguerite Henderson Riddle. She was united in marriage to Roger A. Preston on June 1, 1982. Together they have two greatly loved children, Hunter of Columbus and Lacy (Brian) Blair of Washington Court House. She also leaves behind her beloved cats Mr. Honey Bear and Basil; her mother, Rose; two sisters, Andrea (John) Call, of Waverly and Karyll (Vince) Stevens, of Chillicothe and a brother, Bill Riddle (Jamie) of Portsmouth. She was predeceased by her father, Billie W. Riddle.
Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Southeastern High School and retired from Unioto where she was the high school secretary.

To celebrate the life, love and compassion Tammy shared with everyone around her a Celebration of Life will be held at Paper City Coffee, 47 S. Paint St., Chillicothe, Ohio on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.

One of the most wonderful most kind hearted people I think I've ever met. You always treated me with such respect and like a friend from day one, and I appreciated that. You truly love your kids more than anything and that always warmed my heart so much that you shared such a bond and interest in their life. Tammy, you lived a wonderful life and I will miss you. I have many regrets that we didn't get to spend even more time together. I will hold you dear in my heart forever. Prayers for your family, for strength, comfort, and peace during this most difficult time. Love and miss you my sweet friend.

I was a student aide for Mrs. Preston at Unioto in 2003. She always made me laugh, was terrific to work with, and was always very good to me. I'm genuinely saddened to learn of her passing, and would like to extend my sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
