Norma Lou Chamberlin

1936 - 2014

Mrs. Norma Lou Chamberlin, age 78, of Bonifay, passed away Aug. 1, 2014 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born April 7, 1936 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mrs. Chamberlin was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Lou Brown and fathers, Arvel S. Blackwell, P.A. Griggs and Barney Brown.
Mrs. Chamberlin is survived by her husband, Harry Chamberlin of Bonifay; one son, Leon Mark Chamberlin and wife, Aletha of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Cheryl Fries and husband Paul of Richland Center, Wis., and Kari Rines and husband Arthur of Bonifay; six grandchildren, Micah Fries and wife Tracy, Jared Fries and wife Tammi, Rebekah Phillips and husband Chris, Nicole Chamberlin, Joshua Chamberlin and Emma Rines; six great-grandchildren, Sarah Grace Fries, Kessed Fries, Layla Fries, Timothy Phillips, Kaitlynn Phillips and Karis Phillips; two brothers, Stanley Blackwell of San Marcos, Texas and Don Griggs and wife Ginger of San Marcos, Texas; one sister, Karen Steinmann and husband Terry of Cincinnati, Ohio and a special friend, Jackie Crigger of Virginia Beach, Va.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m., Aug. 5, 2014 at First Baptist Church Bonifay with the Rev. Shelly Chandler, the Rev. Jeep Sullivan, and the Rev. Paul Fries officiating. Interment followed in the Bonifay Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home directing. Family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday at First Baptist Church Bonifay.
