William Currid Obituary

William Chapman "Will" Currid, Jr., age 27 of DeFuniak Springs, formerly of Chipley, passed away Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 at his home. Will was born Feb. 24, 1987 in Andalusia, Ala., but had been a resident of Chipley most of his life. He was employed with GPL Landscaping in Destin.
Survivors include his parents, William "Bill" and Paula (Goodson) Currid of DeFuniak Springs; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Goodson of Wausau; aunts and uncles, John and Cindy Currid of Altus, Ok., Tom and Jennifer Currid of Destin, Phillip and Janet Currid of DeFuniak Springs, Debra Currid of Freeport, Fred Currid of Alvin, Texas and Chip and Debbie Goodson; great uncles, Kenneth Carter and Zeb Tiller and many cousins.
The family received friends Thursday, Sept. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley. Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at 11 a.m., in the Pentecostal Church in Wausau, with Jonathan Daniels and Ty Peel officiating. Interment followed in Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Those wishing to do so may make contributions to the building fund at Wausau Pentecostal Church. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements. Friends and family may sign the online register at www.brownfh.net.
