Albert F. Fialkowski, 80, of 11533 County Hwy. Q, Chippewa Falls, town of Tilden, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and St. Joseph's Hospice.
Albert was born May 3, 1935, in Stanley, the son of Casmer and Helina "Ellie" (Flynn) Fialkowski.
Albert served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Alaska, and did telecommunications for four years.
On May 25, 1963, Albert married Teresa Lahner at St. James the Greater Catholic Church in Eau Claire, and later married Patricia Carol "Tess" Hughes/Hannen Dec. 23, 2005, at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.
Albert was a machine shop supervisor.
Albert was a member of St. Peter's Church, Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Assembly and the Knights of Columbus Goldsmith Council #974.
Albert was a very religious, kind and generous man. He enjoyed deer hunting, cribbage, playing cards, ice fishing and socializing at his favorite restaurant.
Albert is survived by his wife, Tess; two sons, Michael (Barbara) of Eau Claire, and James (Conni) of Brodhead; one daughter, Angela (Tom) Katz of Eau Claire; two stepsons, John (Julie) Sweeney of Circle Pines, Minn., and Bill Sweeney of Elk Mound; one stepdaughter, Colleen (Mark) Meinen of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Agnes Kramer of Eau Claire; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Albert was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa; his parents; siblings, James Fialkowski, Adam and Eve Fialkowski in infancy, and Antoine and Andrew Fialkowski.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Peter's Church in Tilden. The Rev. Ed Shuttleworth will be celebrant of the funeral Mass, with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery in Tilden. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Peter's Church in Tilden.
Albert's family prefers memorials in his name to St. Peter's School.
