Audrey Anderson Obituary

Audrey Jean (Utphall) Anderson of Boyceville passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 92.

Audrey was the second child born to Ronald M and Martha Voelker Utphall (Bible) on October 10, 1932, in Eau Claire. They moved to Downing in 1937 after her father died. She attended grade school in Downing and moved to Boyceville in 1941. She graduated from Boyceville High School in 1950 and worked at Northwest Airlines in St. Paul. She moved to San Francisco and married Sgt. William C. Anderson in March 1951. She worked for Occidental Life Insurance Co. while living there.

Bill and Audrey had four sons. Audrey was a busy farm wife and mother. She joined Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in WELCA as secretary twice and the church Circle chairman and secretary several times. She also helped with the Midway Medowlarks 4-H club.

Audrey enjoyed needlework, painting, lunches with friends, gardening, playing cards, casinos and traveling. Family and friends were most important to her.

Audrey leaves sons Bradford (Lynette), Robert (Brenda) and Richard; grandson Cody (Kayla); great-grandsons, Braxton and Rhett; sister LaVonne (Pete) Bodette, sister-in-law Paula (Delbert) Utphall and grandchildren Deric (April) Wolf, Lindsay Wolf, Tanner Davis and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, their oldest son William C. Jr. (Andy); parents; brothers Delbert and Ronald; brothers in-law Art Nelson, Stan Anderson; sisters in-law Mary Anderson and Eunice Anderson.
