"Stone Serif" size="2">On Monday, June 1, 2009, in Menomonie, Ceil
M. Billmeyer's life on earth was peacefully completed and she was
welcomed into the open arms of her loving Savior with her daughter
and special, loving friends, Mary Schafer and Sylvia Racine, at her
side at Country Terrace in Menomonie
"Stone Serif" size="2">Ceil, age 97, was born in Wisconsin Rapids
to Stanley and Mary (Weber) Jagodzinski, on July 17, 1911. At age
five, the family moved to Stevens Point, where she attended
schools, including Stevens Point Business College. Ceil was deputy
register of deeds for Portage County before her marriage to Paul
Billmeyer on July 31, 1934. Returning to Wisconsin Rapids, she was
a member of many organizations, including Catholic Daughters of
America and Christian Women's Club, where she served as president
at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
"Stone Serif" size="2">Ceil organized square dancing clubs, and
taught rosemaling at Mid State and at the technical school in
Wausau. She was also an interior decorator at Johnson Hill's
Department Store, retiring in 1976. Her husband, Paul, passed away
in 1970. In 1990, she married Victor Billmeyer, who passed away in
2000. Ceil was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
"Stone Serif" size="2">Ceil is survived by her son, Leon (Nancy)
Billmeyer of Appleton; her daughter, Arlene Billmeyer of Menomonie;
two grandsons, Jay Billmeyer of Neenah and Tod Billmeyer of
Kimberly; three great-grandsons, Paul Billmeyer of Neenah, Tyler
Billmeyer of Nekoosa, and Justin Westover of Wisconsin Rapids; many
nieces andnephews; and other relatives and friends.
"Stone Serif" size="2">She is preceded in death by her parents; her
husbands, Paul and Victor; four sisters, Agnes Yaeger, Florence
Yaeger, Marie Rowe and Helen Hanson; and one brother, Leonard
Jinske.
"Stone Serif" size="2">Memorial services will be held at a later
date in Wisconsin Rapids.
