Funeral services for Darlene A. Goettl were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at St. Charles Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. William P. Felix was celebrant of the funeral Mass assisted by Deacon Thomas Kinnick. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Music during the Mass was provided by Jerry Boorsma, the St. Charles Funeral Coir, Jeff Sommerfeld and Andrea Howell. Readings were given by Diane Dachel and Paulette Popp. Gift Bearers were Gail Frank, Faye Reiter and Patrick Gangl. Eucharistic Minister was Diane Schemenauer. After the Mass, a poem was read by Kelly Custer.
Casket Bearers were Jordan, Logan and Gary West, Kelly and Jackie Custer and Seth Goettl.
Honorary Casket Bearers were Hunter Custer and Laken and Tavyn Jones.
Sunday evening Deacon Dan Rider led the family, relatives and friends in a Christian Vigil Service at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls.
