UNION, Mo. - Dayton M. Zubell, 62, of Union, Mo. died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at the Sunset Health Care Center.
He was born on Nov. 11, 1945, to the late Mathew and Maude (Caldwell) Zubell. He grew up in the Huron area attending local schools. Dayton served his country in the Army during the Vietnam conflict as a food inspector. Later he worked in Warrenton, Mo. as a county social worker for 25 years.
Dayton is survived by: his brother Randall (Joanna) Zubell of Gilman; a brother-in- law Phillip Hogquist of Texas; and two nephews, Francis Zubell of Eau Claire and Steven Zubell of Gilman.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; and sister Maudine.
Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Huron.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
