Diane D. Braden
Diane D. Braden, age 78, passed away May 18, 2024 at her home.
She was born in Holcombe, WI on February 19, 1946, the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy (Luethi) Holloway.
Diane married Charles Carothers, Jr. on April 14, 1962 in Chippewa Falls. They lived in Holcombe and Cornell where they raised their four children. They were married until his death on December 15, 2010.
Diane met Lawrence Braden and married him on November 15, 2011.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; two daughters: Sherry (Larry) Pischke of Macon, GA and Lisa (Jason) Jevne of Cornell; two sons: Patrick Carothers of Cornell and David (Marg) Carothers of Chippewa Falls; Diane is further survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy Holloway, her husband, Charles Carothers, and two brothers: David Holloway and Leon Holloway.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Northwoods Church in Cornell, WI, with Pastor Greg Sima officiating. The visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. and go until the start of service at 1:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place after the luncheon at the church.
