Dorothy E. Miller, 96, a resident of Country Terrace in Bloomer, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at her residence under the care of Mayo Clinic Home Health & Hospice.
Dorothy was born June 16, 1918 in Cornell, the daughter of Earl and Hattie (Gorell) Miller.
Dorothy worked for 18 years for Milwaukee County.
She was a member of Holy Ghost Church. Dorothy always enjoyed going for ice cream and we will never forget her humor. Throughout the years, she enjoyed making crafts and especially treasured spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Earl Miller in infancy and George Miller; and two sisters, Lucille Lancette and Nita Krisor.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Valentine Joseph of Holy Ghost Church will be officiating. Interment will be in Cornell Cemetery in the town of Cleveland.
Friends may call one hour before the time of services on Monday, Aug. 11 at the Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls.
