Chippewa Falls - Elaine A. Cosgrove, 97, of Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Chippewa Manor Nursing Home in Chippewa Falls.
Elaine was born September 21, 1927, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Eugene and Mary Marie (Seidling) Cosgrove.
Elaine was a bookkeeper for Presto in her younger days, and a bookkeeper for Wholesale Food Distribution in Minneapolis, Minn., and then worked at Potter Accounting in Chippewa Falls before retiring. She was a member of Notre Dame Church.
Elaine is survived by four nieces, Colleen (Harvey) Fouts, and Kay (Jeff) Smiskey both of Chippewa Falls, Roxie (Joe) Morris of Texas and Suzie Ness of Maryland; one nephew, Dennis (significant other, Barb) of Chippewa Falls; and other relatives; and friends.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathleen Plante and Carole Cosgrove in infancy; and significant other, Patrick Greening.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Notre Dame Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Jesse Burish will be celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls is in charge of arrangements.
