Betty had many talents. She made and decorated wedding and anniversary cakes. Family raved about her sweet rolls. She crocheted doilies and sewed many beautiful quilts.
Betty enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Minong with her family and friends. She loved being with people and was always ready to play cards, mostly 500 but she could play anything.
She stayed active by traveling both overseas and in the U.S. She was also a member of the Chippewa Falls YMCA where she was active in the water exercise program and walked the track until she hit the 500-mile mark.
Betty was a long-time member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, was a member of the Church's P.C.C.W. where she helped at funerals, dinners and volunteered in the office.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene (Frederick) Reiter; and son, Allen (Becky) Spaeth; four grandchildren: Scott (Allie) Reiter, Todd Reiter (Jenny Gust), Erik Spaeth and Katee (Dahlton) Bowe; five great-grandchildren: Sage Reiter, Lainey Reiter, Lawson Reiter, Paisley Bowe, and soon to be Baby Bowe; sister, Amelia Hodorowski; and sisters-in-law: Arlene Wink and Delores Wink.
