Jerry Rasmussen Obituary
Jerry L. Rasmussen, 47 of Bloomer passed away Friday, July 11, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1956 in Ladysmith, to Neil and Madgeline (Uecke) Rasmussen. He attended Bloomer High School. He married Jane Zwiefelhofer on April 2, 1980 in Chippewa Falls. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He worked for Nyhus Concrete for 5 years and Shorty's Home Improvements for the past 6 years.
He is survived by his parents, Neil and Madgeline Rasmussen of Bloomer; children, Melissa Richardson of Chippewa Falls, Michelle Sweeney of Bloomer and Ryan Kollwitz of Bloomer; brothers, Steven Rasmussen of Bloomer and Jack (Norma) Rasmussen of Cornell; sisters, Jean (Terry) Robinson of Medford, Julie (Kenneth) Sippy of Cornell and Amy (Otto) Zieche of Cornell; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
His grandparents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the Schriver Funeral Chapel in Bloomer.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2003 at the Schriver Funeral Chapel, Bloomer where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Christian Wake Service.
Jerry was loved by his friends and family and will be missed.
