John Taylor Obituary

ST. GEORGE, Utah - John Paul Taylor, 28, of St. George, UT and formerly of Bruce and Eau Claire, passed away on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Eau Claire on July 15, 1978 to Barbara (Christensen) and Larry Taylor.

He attended Bruce schools. He worked at The Pickled Trout (Wis.), Hutchinson Technology (Wis.), Wal-Mart Store (St. George, Utah) and at Wal-Mart Distribution Center (Hurricane, Utah). He married Tabitha Tarbox on July 29, 2000, in Chippewa Falls.

He is survived by: his wife, Tabitha; his 17 month old daughter, Alexis (Lexie) both of St. George, Utah; his parents, of Bruce; his paternal grandmother, Eva of Bruce; his brothers, Tom of Le Center, Minn.; Pete (Linda) of Bruce; his sister, Wanda; his niece, Tammy; his nephew, Christian, all of Le Center, Minn.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rudi and Sally Verhoeven of St. George, Utah; his sister-in-law, Tiana Tarbox and her daughter, Jolea of St. George, Utah; aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandfather.

John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We will always remember him just by looking at his beautiful daughter, Lexie.

We would like to thank the people at Wal-Mart Distribution Center and the many, many people who brought food, gifts and money during John's battle. Your kindnesses will never be forgotten.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12 at the Bruce Federated Church in Bruce. Condolences can be sent to: Tabitha Taylor or Sally Verhoeven at 777 South 400 East #64, St George, Utah, 84770.
