Rita Mae LeDuc, 81, of 420 Squires St., Chippewa Falls, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center in Chippewa Falls after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her family.
She was born June 15, 1930 the daughter of Lucip and Doris (Steinmetz) Douville.
Rita was united in marriage to Earl LeDuc on Dec. 8, 1949 and had nine children throughout their military life.
Rita is survived by: nine children, Rosana (Richard) Anthony of Sacramento, Calif., Mark and Michael LeDuc both of Chippewa Falls, Dennis (Sandy) of Manitowoc, David (Theresa) of Denver, Colo., Jacqueline LeDuc of Chippewa Falls, Richard of Chippewa Falls, Theresa (David) Post of Stanley, Wis. and Gerald (Jennifer) of Eau Claire; her remaining brothers include Don (Kathy) Douville of Eau Claire and Dick (Nancy) Douville of Poway, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Earl; her parents; and one brother, Ralph Douville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Rev. Robert LaTona will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call one hour before the time of services on Monday, Feb. 6 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls.
