ALYENE GARRETT SCHICK Alyene Garrett Schick, 102, of Radcliff, Kentucky and formerly of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 5:25 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Carl M. Brasher Radcliff Veterans Center in Radcliff, Kentucky. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Ward Carver officiating. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Park City, Kentucky she was born on September 4, 1923 the daughter of the late Dolphus Garrett and Annie Dickens Garrett. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Warren Schick and her grandson, Ryan Schick. She was a registered nurse and a World War II United States Army veteran. Survivors include her son: William Warren (Leslie) Schick of Mason, Ohio; her daughters, Sandra Schick (Tommy) Porter of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Marcia Schick (Phillip) Owens of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Brandon Schick, Russell Owens, Maddie Smith, Lindsay Thomas and Luanne Tatum and twelve great grandchildren. Memorials may take the form of donations to St. Luke Free Clinic, 408 West 17th Street, Hopkinsville, Kentucky 42240.
