Charles Hopson Obituary

Charles Edward Hopson, 72, Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Christian Co. KY. Charles, the son of the late George Hobson and Glodian Waddell, was born on December 9, 1952, in Christian Co. KY Charles was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching westerns, Gunsmoke was his favorite. He enjoyed his family, playing checkers, and listening to music. Also, he loved his Active Day Care Family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father, Emmett Wimberly; and brother, Arthur Wimberly. Survivors include his siblings, Nelson Wimberly, Billy Wimberly, Ricky Wimberly, Gordon Hopson, Sherile Johnson, Brenda Trice, Betty Wimberly, Bertha Wimberly, Gordon Waddell, Carolyn White, Jennifer (S.R. ) Hollowell, April (Guy) Brown, Clifford Hobson, Carl Hobson, and Zachary Mallory; Devoted family friends, Kenneth Prince, Jameron Brown, Georgia Dossy; a host of loving and caring nieces and nephews.
