Will R. Hargrove

Will R. Hargrove, 84, of Herndon, KY died at 10:29 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Nick Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A native of LaFayette, KY he was born August 17, 1940 the son of the late Frank Hargrove and the Francis Waynick Hargrove. Will and his wife, Joyce, founded Knockum Hill Bar-B-Que. Following retirement from the Bar-B-Que Business, Will spent much of his time raising goats, mules, and other livestock. He was a member of Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his first wife: Joyce Johns Hargrove; his second wife: Mary Carter Hargrove; his son: Will Hargrove, Jr.; his step daughter: Dayna Brame; and his siblings: Elizabeth Hargrove, Howard Hargrove, Sarah Hill, Frank Hargrove, Jr., Herman Hargrove, and Barbara Gamblin. Survivors include his sister: Martha Hargrove Fowler of Hopkinsville, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to Flat Lick Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
