I just learned of Howard´s passing. He was instrumental in my own career from early days of Lansing Community College where he taught workshops to the eighteen years I spent at RIT. He was so supportive and always positive. He will be missed.

I loved Howard's sense of humor. One day we were on the phone discussing the name of a photo lab we used in Chicago. we differed on the name. I searched on the web and Howard was correct. When I called and told him he was correct, he said, and you doubted me? I'll miss you, Howard.
